Twin bed frames fit a 38 by 75 inch mattress and work in kids' rooms, guest rooms and small spaces where a larger bed would crowd the floor. About seven in ten of ours are solid wood, and the rest include upholstered frames in linen blends and faux leather plus a few metal designs. Gray, black, brown and white are the most common finishes. The mix includes house bed styles for younger children and a couple of frames with a trundle for sleepovers. Check each listing's overall dimensions and how high the frame sits off the floor, and whether it needs a box spring.
