Collection: Counter Height Bar Stools

Counter height bar stools are sized for standard kitchen counters and islands, and nearly all of ours are listed at 24 to 27 inches. Measure from the floor to the underside of your countertop, then leave about 10 to 12 inches between seat and counter for knee room. Backless stools tuck fully under an overhang and keep a narrow island looking open, while low-back designs, the most common style here, give a little support through longer meals. Allow about 26 inches of counter length per stool. Seats come in fabric, faux leather, velvet and rush on solid wood, iron or steel frames, mostly in black, gray and brown. If you're seating a whole island, roughly a quarter of the listings arrive as matching sets of two or four.
