Collection: Console Tables

Console tables fill the narrow spots: an entryway wall, the back of a sofa, a hallway. About half here are wood, often solid wood with shelves or drawers, and about a quarter use glass, from clear and gold glass frames to mirrored designs. You'll also find marble tops, including half moon tables, distressed wood and pedestal consoles, sled bases and oval shapes. Black is the most common finish, followed by brown, white and silver. Most run 36 to 60 inches long. Measure depth first: in a walkway, a slimmer table leaves room to pass, and behind a sofa the table should sit at or just below the sofa's back.
